Roberta Liti, dopo un’ottima prestazione in condizioni meteo difficili, si è classificata sesta con 283 (71 73 65 74, -5) colpi nell’Australian Women’s Classic, giunto alla settima edizione e secondo dei quattro eventi di fila in Australia del Ladies European Tour, organizzati in collaborazione con il WPGA Tour of Australasia.

GOLF.GARA .Hye-Jin Choi Hoping to Chase Down First Victory on Sunday at Blue Bay LPGA

Hye-Jin Choi has once again found herself in the chasing position heading into a Championship Sunday on the LPGA Tour.

The Republic of Korea native is currently tied for second in the People’s Republic of China alongside Yu Liu, sitting three shots back of her fellow countrywoman Mi Hyang Lee, who leads at 12-under. After getting off to a bit of a quiet start with a ho-hum 71 on Thursday, Choi carded a pair of back-to-back 68s in the second and third rounds to vault into the top three with 18 holes remaining at Jian Lake Blue Bay Course.

Mi Hyang Lee carded a 1-under 71 on a difficult day for scoring Saturday to take a three-shot lead over Hye-Jin Choi and Yu Liu entering the final round of the Blue Bay

“I’m really proud of myself to make seven birdies. Was on the way to make six bogeys,” Lee said of her third round. “A lot of up and down, but still finished under par, so really looking forward to tomorrow.”

Lee survived a rollercoaster round of seven birdies and six bogeys to finish at 12-under. She is now in position to secure her first LPGA Tour victory since the 2017 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open.
